This carving depicts a tie fighter speeding towards the viewer with a planet in the background.
Carving notes
The cockpit depicted didn't turn out perfectly spherical, but that was a personal error—not an issue with the stencil.
Carving tips
- The planet light gradient can be difficult to accomplish, but the best way to go about it is to carve the whole thing at a shallow depth and then slowly shave off more and more as you approach the deep section. You can check it by putting a light bulb inside it and seeing how the lighting changes as you go.
