Who would have thought that a sequel to a spinoff in the Shrek universe would be one of the greatest animated movies ever?

The art style of the movie was close enough to feeling painted that I was able to create this piece based on a screenshot of the actual movie. Someone from the crowd throws Puss a guitar and moments later, "Fearless Hero" begins to play.

Carving tips

When working on the lute, cut the strings first nice and deep so they stand out. Then work around them to flesh out the rest of the instrument.
