Sometimes the classics are classics for a reason. This design is perfect for first-time carvers — the shapes are forgiving and the result is instantly recognizable.
Tips
- Draw the design in marker before cutting
- Use a large knife for the lid and a small one for the face
- Score the lines first to guide your cuts
