About this piece

This lantern features the original design of Blue Eyes White Dragon the favored monster of the legend Seto Kaiba. Like the Dark Magician carving, this one is very nearly a one-to-one translation of the card artwork which makes it highly recognizable. I remember putting this outside my door after finishing it, and, after a couple hours, someone knocked. It was my neighbor. He was the kind of guy I never would have guessed would like Yu-Gi-Oh, but he said it was the most amazing pumpkin carving he'd ever seen. We remained good friends as long as I lived there.
